I am writing to let everybody know about the new vibe that I'm bringing to the Agoge. I've abandoned the angry attitude. Gone are the threats of vicious and inhumane attacks. Sarcastic remarks are a thing of the past. I've turned over a new leaf - a positive attitude that this league has never seen. My goal is clear and simple: Positive Connections.
So, where do I begin? I can't think of a better place than the trading arena. Do you want a positive trading experience? I'm your guy. I'd love nothing more than to establish an open and honest dialogue and to work together with you to create some win-win deals.
Maybe trading is not your thing or you are satisfied with your keepers. That's cool. Give me a call or shoot me an e-mail to just talk and share your life with me. I'm a great listener. Maybe you're dealing with a heavy issue - maybe I can help. I'm all about paying it forward. Help me to help you.
The bottom line is I'm really excited about the upcoming season and look forward to the fellowship. I wish you all peace and happiness!!!

Your glow is evident - it must be seen by all as a ploy to bring the unsuspecting into your grip. Just like Kimbo slice, I'm not getting anywhere near you.
I can understand your suspicion, but you have me all wrong.
The only glow I see is the revelation that a change was needed in the way I run my organization. My ruthless past took me on a path that went nowhere - except for the Duluth.com bowl game appearances year after year.
I realize that, individually, I am nothing, but collectively, I see great opportunities.
Sure, I could follow the example of Kimbo Slice and try to claw my way to the top at the expense of others, but I now see that there's a better way.
Positive Connections is all about creating positive feedback cycles. Positive interactions lead to positive transactions lead to positive feelings that encourage more positive interactions. A value net, so to speak.
I know, talk is cheap, but I will prove it to all of you. Positive Connections is here to stay.

Corey - weren't you going to send out the list of all the team names? Wasn't the deadline 5 days ago, and you were going to start fining people or docking points!

I have everyone except Saba's, who's child is really sick. So I'm just riding him a little bit, but not being a dick about it. Everybody's is pretty good.
And gman hasn't sent his in yet either. I gave him an ultimatum - give me name or I'm picking it. Any ideas?
How about Homo Erectus?

At this point, if a name hasn't been selected, I agree, the Agoge may have to take over. The Agoge, by definition, is a training ground for the elite and owners need to take this seriously.
With that said, we can choose to be harsh and demeaning and select team names like Homo Erectus, the 69ers, etc. or we could be more positive.
I like the name "Warren Peace". The name is more respectful and uplifting and it would further spread the message I'm trying to convey.
I'll leave the final decision up to the consensus.
A little pressure worked. The only without a new name is Saba. I'm sending out the updates today.
